Hi Class...Here's the Quadratic Equation we were talking about in class. We won't be using it in this section, but possible later on, so take a look and be familiar with it for later.

Answer Keys

I think from now on I will put your answer keys just on myUEN page instead of both here and there. You know the drill...go to Freedom Academy's websight, click on my number and check the Geometry folder...that way I'm not downloading everything twice. I will still use this blog for useful links and additional explanations as well as answering any tough weekend questions :) Happy blogging!

Test on Wednesday!! Don't forget, you can study off of the 1A practice test we did.

Mrs. Flewallen
I was very impressed with how well you all caught on to the distance formula today! Way to go guys! (and gals!) Remember, that you can always refer back to the Pythagorean Theorem if you get stuck on how to find the distance between two points.

Ask lots of good questions tomorrow!

Sorry to run out on you yesterday! Just to let you know, my husband Steve is doing fine now. He had gall bladder surgery yesterday, and that seems to have taken care of the problem.

Anyway, thanks so much for your patience and kind words yesterday, it was very appreciated. Make sure you bring good questions Monday on the formulas for area and perimeter and how they are used in Geometry.

We will be moving along to Lesson 9 on the Distance Formula which is one of the really important formulas we will use a ton in Geometry.

Have a great weekend!
